racu Firing:
I invite you to sign up for my next racu workshop. Think of it as a backyard party where you can bring your bisque fired pieces to life. It is an open workshop which includes the glazing and firing of your pieces using the ancient technique of racu.

Firing:
Each piece is fired to temperature of 1800°F  using my propane fired kiln.

 

Glazing:
I have an assortment of glazes to sample

Final Step :
Once fired the pieces are carefully removed from the kiln and placed in etal receptacles containing various materials such as newspapers, sawdust or leaves.
